Course Description

What will I learn and how will I learn?
Physical Education Recreation is purely based on physical performance across each term, and on-going throughout the year. Students for this course will have two main requirements: 

1. To be changed in PE gear for every lesson.
2: To perform to the best of their ability, regardless of the activity. 

Credits/standards are offered based on what we believe, the student is capable of achieving. Optional opportunities are available: e.g. Rugby Referees Course (must past selected criteria).

Conditions of Assessment
Based on physical performances and NZQA performance rubrics.

Submitting Internal Assessments
Assessment will be submitted in relation to the students Level 2 Physical Education programme.

Resubmission and Further Assessment Opportunities
Resubmissions can only be offered once and only when small errors or omissions need to be corrected in your work in a short period of time. There is no further teaching available. Further Assessment Opportunities are not available in every standard.

Recommended Prior Learning

For entry into this course, students need to have excellent attitude, effort and participation in Level 1 Physical Education. Students can gain entry upon recommendation from their Physical Education teacher or approval from Head of Learning Area.
